Job description:

Excellent opportunity for a self starting Account Executive to join a global leading IT / Data Centre company at the heart of the cloud computing revolution. The successful Account Executive will be a natural hunter with experience of selling IT services into EMEA\'s technology and media and entertainment companies. The ideal candidate will have the vision to open up new markets in EMEA including Nordics, Eastern Europe/Russia, South Africa and the Middle East.

The Account Executive will support the development of new customers and delivery of consistent, outstanding sales results from a territory of geographic and named accounts. Specifically, this will entail the identification of suspects and prospects and the generation of new business, to grow the number of participants involved in the company\'s targeted content and media and cloud platform services.

The role will have the following areas of focus and responsibility

• Support the attainment of sales objectives in the “Regional” territory.
[Europe, Middle East and Africa excluding the UK, France, Germany, The
Netherlands and Switzerland].
• Interfacing with:

o prospective and
existing customers,
o the global sales team,
o Sales Operations,
o Vertical Marketing,
o Product Marketing,
o The Executive team..
• Support the attainment of Monthly Recurring Revenue sales targets across the company\'s global footprint.
• Support a ‘Revenue Storm’ based sales process, using Demand Creation and Demand Fulfillment skills acquired through company-provided training.
• Learn about and identify key market trends that customers and prospects can leverage to support the business case for the company\'s services.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer’s core objectives and challenges, in order to properly match the company\'s products and services with their needs.
• Learn to confidently describe and explain the company\'s service features and benefits, and our ability to meet or exceed customer expectations, especially when compared to alternatives.
• Help to build the company\'s brand awareness and a funnel of new customer opportunities
in the Regional territory through cold calls, selected trade show and event
participation, and all appropriate outbound sales activities.
• Regularly maintain Salesforce.com; provide necessary sales reports.

• Develop relationships within the company that enable rapid closure of customer issues or
roadblocks that may arise.

• Qualify in-bound inquiries to develop potential and existing customer relationships.
• Support the preparation and delivery of presentations, proposals and RFP responses to professionally represent the company\'s capabilities in the best possible light.
• Support the preparation of forecasts and go to market plans for the development of business around the
four key objectives

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in selling successfully high value technical products and
    services into new markets within EMEA
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up style environment.
  • High energy and passion to globally develop customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creation of high quality business proposals in line with agreed client needs
    and expectations
  • Accountable for achieving results.and providing accurate forecasts
  • Awareness of different asset classes
  • Results-oriented, excellent ability to utilize and manage the organization’s
    resources to support objectives.
  • Nice to have would be an additional language e.g. Eastern European,
    Russian or German
